“Growing up with a professional chef as my father, it was hard not to fall in love with cooking and eating delicious food. Working in the restaurant industry has always been an aspiration of mine. So naturally, after I graduated business school, I joined my father’s international culinary consulting business. There, I was able to assist national food brands in strategic menu development and help open new concepts for restauranteurs. Working with clients all throughout the restaurant industry, from QSR’s, suppliers, fast-food chains, retailers, and casual dining restaurants, has exposed me to the ins and outs of the entire foodservice segment. My experience has given me a unique perspective on where the restaurant industry is heading in the near future, and as we’ve seen over the past several years, the number people are ordering food online for delivery and pickup continues to grow at a rapidly growing rate due to consumers’ on-the-go lifestyles and need for convenience. On top of delivery and pick-up meals, there has also been a surge in the number of people “meal prepping” for their week. Meal prepping has become a weekly occurrence for individuals that want their meals planned and prepped ahead of time so that they don’t have to worry about cooking throughout their busy schedules. So, I thought, why not combine the two and offer both prepared meals and and an excellent lunch offering that’s convenient, fresh, and delicious? I want to make eating excellent food easily accessible to everyone in the Orlando area without the hassle of planning, shopping, cooking, or going to a proper sit-down restaurant.
